Attempting to load a Pocket ACE VM into Fusion results in a maddening error message that you should use Player instead.

Its rather outrageous that VMware Fusion imports Parallels Desktop 4 virtual machines ( ) but it cant use VMs packaged by its own flagship workstation for Windows.

Its the single solitary reason I purchased Fusion, and it doesnt work.

Thanks for wasting my time til I hit the VMWare requirement, RIM.

I have the VMWare Fusion trial running my playbook app right now (for free), it works just fine.

It is not the same as WMware player which can host a lot of OSes.

The only tool available is Virtual Box but Virtual Box does not support as many guest OSes as VMware.

Aside from the fact that the post you replied to is over a year old, which makes it a bit silly to even reply to it, nonetheless youre absolutely wrong VMware Fusion basically supports all the same OSes that VMware PlayerWorkstation support and one that they dont, Mac OS X, so why would you bump such an old thread just to make such a ridiculous statement.
